If you're looking for a scooter that's both affordable and stylish, the EW-M34 should be high on your list. As a value-oriented scooter, it comes with a palette of really nice features that higher-end scooters often fail to offer.
For instance, it has an adjustable armrest which is really nice for stability when you're riding the scooter. It also comes with a swivel seat which is really important to help you get in or out and then clicks right back into place when you are back on the scooter.

Having said that, let’s take a look at the attractive features the scooter has to offer its riders.
EW M34 Scooter Features
Controls
The scooter offers both “forward” and “reverse” controls. The thumb throttle, or a squeeze throttle as many people call it is a convenient addition, especially for people with arthritis. The twist throttle can be challenging for them but on the EW M34 scooter, the thumb throttle makes it real easy.
On the right side, you press the throttle to go forward, and on the left side, it reverses. While you reverse, you can hear a sound, which is an added safety feature to ensure that you realize that you're going backward.
Speed
The scooter has a twist throttle which allows you to travel at a very slow speed. Once outside, you can twist it all the way up to full speed. At full speed, it hits about 4.5 miles/hour. It might not sound very fast but to be honest, if you're going to the park or just down the street to the market four and a half miles away, it is going to get you there pretty quickly.
Horn and LED Lights
Among other features, the EW-M34 has a horn that lets people know that you're there and two very bright led lights in the front to make sure that people can see you and you have a clear vision while riding through dark or dimly lit streets.
The EW-M34 comes with a great easy-to-remove basket. It pops right off when you are at the grocery store shopping for essentials, and once you are done you can snap it right back into place. Lastly, there are the power keys which, when inserted, allow you to see all the functions in the display like the horn, lights, etc.
Neutral and Drive Modes
The scooter has a switch toward the back that says ‘N’ for Neutral and ‘D’ for Drive.
When you are on the move, the scooter obviously has to be in the Drive Mode. That keeps the wheels locked in place when you get on and off and engages the motor to provide power to the vehicle.
If, on the other hand, you want to move it forward by pushing or rolling the scooter, this is called “freewheeling.” To do so, simply shift the lever to N (for Neutral) and the scooter actually can roll without the use of the power.
If you turn the scooter on and want to drive it, it needs to be in Drive Mode in order to make your scooter go.
Charging
Charging the battery on the scooter is really simple. You have a charging port, and you can either charge the battery while it's attached to the scooter or you can disassemble it and bring it inside and then you just plug it into a regular wall outlet. Make sure you have a fully charged scooter before you take off.
Adjustable Seats and Easy Loading Options
The seat is completely adjustable. It moves up and down in one-inch increments with a safety pin. You just bring it up to the section that you're comfortable with, slide the pin in and you're good to go.
The EW-M34 breaks apart into five smaller pieces for easy loading into your trunk - the battery, basket, captain seat, front assembly, and the rear assembly with the heaviest piece weighing only 28 pounds. So the EW-M34 has an executive seat that measures 17 by 16 inches, comes with a mid-back and swivel, adjustable armrests along with a large detachable basket with a carry handle.
Other features of the scooter include:
- Electric horn
- Reverse button and a key start
- FDA-certified designer aluminum wheels
- 300-pound weight capacity
- Maximum speed of 4.5 miles an hour
- Under deck clearance of two inches
- Operating range of about 10 miles
In addition to this, it has electromagnetic breaks between charges which means once you take your thumb off the throttle it automatically starts to break for safety.
